Rock Creek Property Group is a commercial real estate investment company with offices in Washington, DC and Bethesda, MD. We acquire, finance, develop, construct, lease and asset manage real estate throughout the Mid Atlantic Region. We have acquired properties in a variety of ways, including direct fee simple transactions, loan and distressed sale acquisitions, the purchase of partnership interests and through joint ventures. Our principals have long-standing ties to the region and own or are affiliated with related leasing and property management companies which deliver integral services, resources, market data and operating efficiencies to Rock Creek.
Our portfolio includes office buildings, shopping centers, apartments, industrial properties and urban mixed-use assets. We invest a substantial amount of our own equity in each project and serve as the managing investment vehicle for more than 100 private investors and pension plans. Most of our investors have been with us for more than a decade and have invested in multiple projects across many asset classes. In December, 2009 Rock Creek closed on its first fund — a $21 million investment vehicle which acquired value-added assets and development sites in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC. In October 2015, Rock Creek closed on Fund II — a $60 million discretionary fund targeting development, income-producing, joint venture and value-added opportunities in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC.
